When IT projects stall or fail to launch properly, it’s usually due to a lack of clarity between business units and IT.
With experience on both sides, I ensure that precise requirements are defined from the outset and a shared language emerges. This gives your projects a solid structure, keeps them on schedule, and gives your team experiences a real reduction in workload.

Unclear objectives in IT projects not only lead to budget overruns – they also create friction between business units and IT. If business language isn’t translated into technical language, valuable potential remains untapped.
Requirements are often vaguely formulated or technically misinterpreted. The result: Exactly the wrong thing is built - precise, but completely off the mark.
When business and IT talk past each other, endless rounds of coordination ensue. Decisions are delayed, and team motivation noticeably declines.
Solutions are developed in isolation, without considering the daily work of the users. The result: New systems are either not used or only used reluctantly after go-live.
Most projects don’t fail because of technology. They fail because of the gap between what the business needs and what IT delivers. I bridge that gap – because I speak both languages.
As your central contact person for requirements clarification, project management and change management, I accompany your initiative throughout – from the initial analysis to stable implementation.
Radical clarity in requirements. Precise specifications are defined and any room for interpretation is consistently eliminated before the actual implementation begins.
A constructive dialogue between technology and business. Bridges are being built where there were previously divides, and a solid common basis is being created for all involved.
A proactive launch that reduces the pressure of the go-live. Careful planning and close support ensure sustainable stability from the outset.
Whether it’s digital transformation or optimization of your existing IT environment: Change only succeeds with the right structure. I offer three levers to bring your initiatives safely to the finish line – from the initial idea through to lasting integration within your organization.
FOCUS: LAYING THE FOUNDATION.
Through intensive workshops and expert discussions, your business knowledge is structured: From current state analysis and target vision to project planning. The result is a solid foundation for all IT disciplines – clear enough for technical specifications, and reliable enough for implementation.
FOCUS: ACHIEVING THE GOAL.
IT projects are managed with a consistent end-to-end orientation: From handover and the management of all stakeholders to go-live. Clear communication at all levels and pragmatic intervention ensure transparency, schedule adherence, and stable results – even in turbulent project phases.
FOCUS: ENABLING ORGANISATIONS & INDIVIDUALS
Sustainable project management capability develops through the interplay of stable structures and effective individuals. PMO structures are established and individual room for maneuver is strengthened – for greater transparency, better governance, and confident project leadership across the organization.
Regardless of the service area, every initiative follows a structured approach for safe and targeted implementation.
We identify the core problems and blind spots in your requirements. I listen closely to understand the perspectives of both the business side and IT.
Together, we organize the complexity. We create a clear picture and define viable milestones that provide orientation.
I accompany the realisation and ensure open communication. Together, we make sure the outcome meaningfully improves daily work routine.
We continuously review progress and create transparency through regular feedback. This drives targeted, continuous improvement.

Shaped by several years of project work in Germany, Romania, China, and Great Britain, I bring an intercultural perspective that helps me to grasp connections more quickly and build bridges. From this, I derive my five cornerstones for successful collaboration:

I address things as they are – even when it’s uncomfortable.
Behind every requirement is a person who wants to be heard.
What I commit to stands firm. Even in difficult project phases.
Genuine curiosity about what lies beneath is my prerequisite for quality work.

As a freelance IT project manager based in Kassel (Germany), I create structure where complexity is slowing progress.
With over 14 years of experience in international project and consulting roles – at large corporations like Volkswagen and Atos as well as med-sized companies like Viessmann – I combine practical experience in IT project management, operational excellence, and strategy programs.
At the intersection of IT and business, I lead initiatives to success not only technically, but also on a human level. I work with people who are ready to take collaboration seriously and jointly build their initiatives on a solid foundation.
Primarily small and medium-sized enterprises looking to implement IT or transformation initiatives in a structured way. Industry is secondary – what matters is a concrete initiative and the willingness to set it up properly together.
The focus is not on pre-made solutions, but on the interface between business and IT. This is where most misunderstandings arise. Requirements clarification, project management, and change management are bundled into a single role, which reduces coordination overhead and anchors responsibility clearly.
Regardless of the service area – whether Requirements Management, Project Management, or PMO & Coaching – every initiative follows a clear approach: Analysis of requirements and framework conditions, followed by planning of structure, responsibilities, and milestones, and then controlled implementation with a focus on stable outcomes. This creates a consistent, coherent thread from the initial clarification to successful completion.
Through clarity in requirements, transparent project organization, open risk communication, and a willingness to regularly question the status quo. The goal is not acceptance – but sustainable benefit for your company.
Yes. Many projects gain stability precisely when clarity is established regarding requirements, roles, and communication channels in the middle of an ongoing phase. The best time for collaboration is when the need for action is recognized – not earlier, not later. In such situations, collaboration begins with an honest assessment of the current situation – without assigning blame – and from there creates a new, stable foundation.
That’s the standard case – whether IT teams, business units, an existing PMO, or internal project managers. Collaboration doesn’t happen in parallel to existing structures, but alongside them. Existing strengths are leveraged, and structure is introduced where it’s lacking – with the goal that the organization continues to benefit sustainably even after the project is completed.
Both are possible and will be coordinated on a project-specific basis. I am happy to be on-site for workshops, kick-off meetings, and critical project phases. For ongoing project management, I generally work in a hybrid model – focused remote work often allows for a higher cadence and efficiency, saves travel time and costs, and in practice has no impact on the quality of the collaboration.
Based in Kassel (Germany), I support organizations regardless of location.
An honest picture of the situation – what has worked so far and what hasn’t. Existing documents and records are valuable, but don’t need to be specially prepared. Anything that’s still missing will emerge during the process.
It depends on the initiative. Generally speaking, the time invested in a thorough requirements clarification and alignment at the start pays off many times over in later project phases. Meetings are prepared, focused, and results-oriented – so that your internal workload remains as low as possible.
Billing is transparent and based on daily rates, depending on the scope and complexity of the project. The specific terms will be defined in a personal conversation and documented in a clear proposal.
